Tesserarius, Cohort II, Century I

Titus Minicius Parthicus

Tessarius and custos armorum of the First Century, of the Second Cohort, Legio VI Ferrata is Titus Minicius Parthicus.  Born in the legionary fortress town of Mogontiacum, in the Provence of Germania Superior, in 37 AD, he is the son of Quintus Minicius, a retired Auxiliary Optio of Second Cohort, Italica, Civium Romanorum.  Enlisting at the age of 16, Parthicus saw his first posting with Legio II Augusta just prior to the invasion of Britanica.  Severely wounded in battle near the city of Londinum, Parthicus was moved to Colonia Agrippina to recover from his wounds.  Upon recovering from his wounds he was transferred to Legio VI Ferrata.  He has served with great distinction in Legio VI Ferrata, especially during its campaigns under the leadership of Corbulo against the Parthinians from 54-68 AD in Armenia.  Never resting until any assigned mission against the Parthinians was completed, and known for his thoroughness at dispatching the enemies of Rome, Parthinians in particular, has earned him the name of Parthicus amongst his peers and superiors.
