Primus Pilus

The Primus Pilus of Legio VI Ferrata is Justus Rustius Longinus.  Born in the city of Ostia in the Italia province on Novus XII, 5 BC.  He was one of the few survivors of the Teutoberg Forest diseater.  A personal friend of Germanicus for helping retrive one of the Eagles lost by Varus's Legions.  After a luxurious recovery in Capua he was reassigned to the Sixth where he served with distinction in numerous postions before attaining the rank of Primus Pila (First Spear).
