We now have several "Categories of Membership":
1. E-Members (PROBATIO) are folks interested in joining that
have not yet made an event or purchased required fighting kit**.
2. Equipped E-Members (TIRO) have purchased their fighting
kit**, but have not been to an event* yet.
3. Members (HASTATI) are active participants who have been
to at least one event*.
4. Equipped members (PRINCIPES) have their fighting kit** gear
and have been to two or more events* annually.
5. Full members (TRIARII) who are equipped with fighting kit**
and make a minimum of Three events* annually
6. The Iron Sides (FERRATA MILITES) may only be appointed
by a unanimous vote of the Command Staff (Centurio, Optio, Signifir).
*Event is definied as any Scheduled activity as listed on the events page of the LEG VI website.
**Equipment Necessary to progress in rank is Caligae, Tunic, Balteus, Armor, Helm, Gladius, Pugio, Shield,
Pila (Civilian members may also attain these different statuses based on their impressions' completeness.).
