Legio VI maintains a number of dramatic performances written by
members. They range from reports on the crucufixion to a report on the battle of actium. We also have a full length Passion
Play written by our Commander about the Centurion who crucified Jesus Christ and Mary Magdala. We also have a unique
presentation in Confession of Justus where we will "take over" your church one morning and tell the story (this works
year around! (The Crucifixion, it's not just for Easter anymore.) If you are interested in using these scripts, or contacting the Legion about a performance of Confession
Of Justus, email us at JustusLonginus@aol.com.
Confession of Justus
Confession of Justus is the Crucifixion story told by the Centurion who did the deed. The Centurion and his soldiers interrupt
a church service and "take it over". The Centurion then tells his story which is punctuated by the other soldiers
presenting the elements of the Crucifixion (Spear, Thorn Crown, Pilate's Wash Bowl, Hammer, Nails, and Purple robe.) The
response will be very interesting! Works best a few months AFTER Easter!
Who Held the Nail?
Who Held the Nail is a full length Passion Play with a twist. It is told from the Point of view of Mary Magdalene, 1st Centurion
Justus (PrimiPili), and Centurion Cornelius. The classic Passion Play is presented as each of the main characters is confronted
by Christ and his sacrifice. Has a number of audience participation scenes including "The First" Communion Service,
Welcoming Christ to Jerusalem, Paying Judas, Getting paid to scream Barabbas, Hammering a nail into a cross, and more. This
is a full length drama.
