Centurio's Convivia

Join us for the BEST Roman Feast Experience in America!

The highlight of the event for Re-enactors is the Centurio's Convivium.  Hosted by Justus Longinus, the Lady Flavia, and Soul of the Warrior in the 'Feast Hall Tent", the event features numerous Roman foods that are sure to fill up the largest appetite (and we always have lefteovers Sunday morning!).  Prepared by Michelle Stewart of Leg XI (and a number of assistants), we feast aound the triclinum in the 20*40 foot feast hall.

NEW for 2010.  Guests are asked to pay $10 to participate in the Convivia.  $5 for the marvelous Chef, and $5 for the actual food.  In the past SOTW has footed the food bill, but the economy has forced us to change that this year.  It is STILL the best meal you will ever eat, and eat, and eat, and eat... for $10!!!!

The Hall is decorated by Quintus Valorous, the Signifir of Leg VI (Paul Allen) in grand Roman style.  To walk in the tent is to enter a movie set!  Pillows and blankets spread the atmosphere as we feast on the twelve inch tall tables.  Bring your appetite and a pillow or two, as we always run out... Fruits of the vine are shared by all, though moderation is the watchword (generally we eat so much this is not an issue anyway!)

The Feast was the site of a 2005 Wedding, and a 2007 Engagement... Who knows what could happen this year???  One thing for certain, you will NOT leave hungry!!
