There are a number of mild punishments and rewards designed to enforce discipline in the ranks at Lafe 43 AD.

These punishments and rewards are meant to keep the spirit of Roman discipline alive and in no way shape for form intended to detract from the overall experience from the event.  They are intended to be part of the experience... IE to be fun...

The following list of punishments may be enacted at the discretion of the Optio or higher:

Punishment:

Contubernium served last in feeding line

Milites served last in feeding line

Stripped of right to wear balteus

Eat meal outside of the fort

Loss of day’s wages

Ditch digging

Face the Praefectus or Centurio for administrative punishment.  With appropriate chance to defend yourself.

Rewards

Milites served first in the feeding line

Conterburninium served first in the feeding line

Rewarded an additional day’s wage

Immunes for a day

Commended by the Praefectus/Centurio for outstanding achievment
