Over the last few years, the costs of the Lafe event have grown (insurance alone is now over $800!) To help
support Castra Lafe, we will sponsor a silent auction. All proceeds from the auction will directly benefit the Castra
Lafe project. We are asking you, the reenactors to donate older re-enactor items or things
you have upgraded from and for which you have no further use or that have been laying in the bottom of your kit bag.
On friday we will have table in the Vicus with the items to bid on over the weekend. Just put your name and the amount
you are willing to pay on the form. Keep checking back to see if your bid has been beaten! The high bidder
wins. Sunday morning the winners will be announced and will get their goods! Vendors attending
Castra Lafe are also asked to donate some items for the silent auction. It can be anything! An old leather bag
you don't use, and extra oil lamp, new stuff, used stuff, even stuff that has become FARBE to you that a new re-enactor may
be thrilled to get! We all have stuff laying around that we no longer use, scratch and dent, a ripped seam, whatever
you can donate!! Help support YOUR fort and the immersion event we have all come to love!
